The UK Women's Lacrosse Club's mission to provide a way for its members to play the sport of lacrosse and to raise awareness of the sport in Kentucky.

The University of Kentucky Women’s Club Lacrosse Team was founded in 2004 by several women who loved the game of lacrosse. Their passion for the sport drove them to gain university approval to create an organization and to recruit members who shared the same passion for lacrosse. Since then the club has grown larger and stronger. Each year it attracts very talented players and enables these players to continue playing beyond high school.
